TECHNOLOGIES
Step 1: Data Collection
PSIMOS develops and produces its own spectral cameras and acoustic sensors for different applications.
Spectral Cameras
Whereas the human eye sees colour of visible light in mostly three bands (red, green, blue) spectral imaging divides the spectrum into many more bands.
Hyperspectral cameras look at objects using a vast portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. Certain objects leave unique 'fingerprints' in the electromagnetic spectrum.
Acoustic Sensors
Audio analysis refers to the extraction of information and meaning from audio signals for analysis, classification, storage and retrieval.
A Spectrogram is a visual representation of the spectrum of frequencies of a signal as it varies with time. Acoustics patterns can be determined by special algorithms on spectrograms.
Agri-Robots & Drones
All-terrain autonomous mobile robots and drones equipped with sensors capable of capturing and analyzing images.
Drones are uniquely qualified to capture aerial data for consistent use at large industrial facilities, enabling rapid and seamless data collection
IOT Sensors & Wearables
IoT systems consist of sensors/devices which “talk” to the PSIMOS cloud through a different kind of connectivity. PSIMOS supports more than 50 IoT sensor producers for more than 100 parameters.
PSIMOS collects data from more than 10 different "wearables” - different categories of electronic devices that can be worn as accessories, carried, or embedded in clothing.
